This Privacy Policy describes how Bancha ("us," "we," or "our") handles information when you use the PhotoBin mobile application ("the App" or "Service").
1. Our Core Privacy Principle: Local Processing
PhotoBin is designed to work entirely locally on your device.
Photos Never Leave Your Device: We want to be absolutely clear: PhotoBin does not upload, transmit, store, or process any of your personal photos or videos on our servers. All photo grouping, sorting, swiping decisions, and album creation/deletion actions are performed locally within the App and interact only with your device's native photo library.
No Personal Identifiable Information (PII) is Associated with Photo Data: Since your photos never leave your phone, we cannot access, view, or link them to any personal identifier (like your name or email).
2. Information We Collect (Minimal Data)
We only collect minimal data strictly necessary for app functionality, support, and improving the user experience.
A. Photos Library Access
The App requires permission to access your device’s photo library to function. This access is solely used to read, display, and manage your photos (including deleting, favoring, sharing, and album creation) as directed by you.
B. Usage and Analytics Data
We collect non-personal, non-identifiable usage data to understand how the App is used, detect crashes, and improve performance. This may include:
Device Information: Device model, operating system version, and time zone.
Feature Usage: Data about which features you use (e.g., how often you swipe, how many albums you create).
Crash Reports: Information about crashes or technical errors.
This data is typically anonymized and aggregated by third-party services (like Apple's App Analytics or Firebase Analytics) and cannot be used to identify you personally.
C. Purchase Information
If you make an In-App Purchase, the transaction is handled by the App Store (Apple). We receive confirmation of your purchase status (e.g., subscription active, purchase date) but do not receive or store your credit card information.
3. How We Use the Information
We use the limited information we collect for the following purposes:
To Provide the Service: To enable photo management and sync actions as described in the App description.
To Maintain and Improve the App: To debug errors, analyse usage trends, and develop new features.
For Customer Support: To respond to your questions or technical issues if you contact us.
4. Third-Party Service Providers
We may employ third-party companies and individuals to facilitate our Service (e.g., for analytics). These third parties have access to your non-personal data only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use the information for any other purpose.
5. Security of Data
The security of your data is important to us, especially the photos stored locally on your device. We use commercially acceptable means to protect the limited data we collect (as listed in Section 2) from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy in the App and updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this policy.
